The good news for job seekers in Massachusetts is that clean energy
employers are hiring! The Massachusetts clean energy economy grew by
11.2 percent from July 2011 to July 2012, according to a report from the
Massachusetts Clean Energy Center. The report found that the clean
energy industry employs 71,523 people at 4,995 companies in
Massachusetts. Solar, wind, energy efficiency, batteries, biofuels, insulation and
sealant companies are just some of the companies that are hiring in the
Commonwealth.
The New England Clean Energy Council has an article profiling 28 selected companies that are looking to fill 270 positions in Massachusetts right now.
