Join us in celebrating 19 years of creativity, fun & learning.  Live performances, hands-on media, robotics, 3D and arts activities, and exciting games, all led by Clubhouse members, mentors, and staff!

Once a year the “Flagship” Clubhouse gathers youth, alumni, mentors and friends to commemorate the birthday of the Computer Clubhouse, sharing live performances, project demonstrations, success stories, and friendship. This year, we’ll also be introducing Jackie Gonzalez, our new Flagship Program Manager, and Ellen Daoust our Massachusetts Promise Clubhouse-to-College/Career Fellow, and highlighting the success of our summer WorldBuilders program and Teen Summit 2012.

About the Intel Computer Clubhouse Network

Founded in 1993 in collaboration with the MIT Media Lab and the Museum of Science, Boston, the Computer Clubhouse has grown into a recognized model for creative and safe out-of-school learning, where young people (10 – 18 years of age) from under-served communities work with adult mentors to explore their own ideas, build confidence, develop 21st century skills, and find pathways to success through the use of cutting-edge technology.  Both in locally hosted Clubhouse spaces and through our international online social network, the Clubhouse Village, Clubhouse members also learn to give back to their communities in ways that help them build self-esteem, teach them respect for others, and foster commitment to community engagement.  Now gearing up to celebrate our 20^th Anniversary in 2013, the Intel Computer Clubhouse Network has grown to over 100 Clubhouses connecting youth in 20 countries across the world.   For more information, visit www.computerclubhouse.org.
