Evening with Lemelson-MIT InvenTeams


Lemelson-MIT InvenTeams™ are teams of high school students, educators, and mentors that receive grants up to $10,000 each to invent technological solutions to real-world problems.

The Lemelson-MIT Program is holding a special evening presentation of this year’s
InvenTeams from across the Commonwealth, hosted by Natick Public Schools.

Showcasing teams include:

Beaver Country Day School InvenTeam (Chestnut Hill) - automated robotic vehicular independence system
Natick High School InvenTeam (Natick) - ice search and rescue remotely operated vehicle
Newton North High School InvenTeam (Newton) - pedestrian alert system
Sturgis West Charter Public School InvenTeam (Hyannis) - marine mammal rescue transporter

An overview of the Lemelson-MIT Program and its mission of celebrating innovation and inspiring youth, will be given by Joshua Schuler, Executive Director of the Lemelson-MIT Program.
