Students train to become video game designers

This summer, students from various Massachusetts colleges participated in a state-sponsored summer program aimed at developing the next generation of video game designers. The program was based at Becker College and sponsored by the Massachusetts Digital Games Institute, or MassDiGI, an agency created to promote the video game industry.

MassDiGi gives undergraduate college students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the computer science world, while providing valuable networking opportunities. The students were charged with completing a game and then presenting the finished product to industry professionals.
