Plantfest Boston!

The Boston Museum of Science present Plantfest Boston this weekend!

On Monday, the Mars Science Laboratory's Curiosity rover will touch down on the planet as part of an extensive two-year project to explore this neighboring planet. To celebrate this historic endeavor, the Museum of Science is holding its first-ever Planetfest Boston. Running from Saturday through Monday, the program is packed with things to do, from live presentations to activities focusing on space and planetary science, live briefings from NASA, special Planetarium shows, and the opportunity to get an up-close look at the museum's 1/3 scale model of Curiosity. Visitors can also check out the museum's Destination Station, a temporary exhibit devoted to the International Space Station.
